What are the advantages of the PRÄZI sliding floor system?

The PRÄZI moving-floor system is characterized by its very high storage capacity and its adaptability to your needs. You’ll receive a solution tailored to your requirements that can be operated with minimal loading effort and energy consumption. All components can be replaced if spare parts are needed and are available on short notice.

Which substrates can be reliably conveyed using a push-floor system?

In standard operation, our push floors are optimally designed for the continuous and energy-efficient conveyance of corn silage. However, thanks to their extremely robust construction and powerful forward motion, they can also easily handle highly structured, long-fiber, and difficult-to-convey biomass such as solid manure, grass, straw, or whole-plant silage (GPS). Important: We manufacture systems exclusively for solid feed; systems designed solely for liquid feed (e.g., for pure manure systems) are not part of our product portfolio.

How does a moving-floor system prevent the dreaded bridging in the receiving hopper?

Bridge formation often occurs when long-fiber substrates become wedged in the hopper and block the flow of material. Our push-floor system prevents this through the large-area, alternating movement of the solid push beams on the bunker floor. The material is pushed across the entire surface and evenly toward the downstream breaking roller. This active crushing technique loosens the substrate and continuously feeds it to the screw conveyor, ensuring clog-free plant operation.

How do you protect the heavily used push beams from abrasive wear?

Upon request, we can provide you with a ceramic coating.

Is the moving-floor system also suitable for repowering existing biogas plants?
